I want.

I came across this lovely table at Walmart today. $99!! I think it's coming home with me this weekend - Mr. PD just doesn't know it yet.

Here's how it's going to go down:

me: I saw this lovely table at Walmart today and it's only $99

Mr. PD: we already have a table and it's fine.

me: yes but it's kind of small.

Mr. PD: There are only four of us.

me: yes but you're parents are coming to visit in 2 weeks...

Mr. PD: hhhmm

me: *bat my eyelashes and give him a nice smile.*

Mr. PD: I guess we can go look at it.

Little does he know that I've won once he says we can go look at it!

This table looks like anything but a Walmart special. It's sturdy, the top is actual wood, NOT laminate or veneers, it's black with a dark stained top. And check out those lovely legs. Need I say more? I'm in love!

So I looked on-line fro more info. Guess what? It's $127 online. You can also but the set online (but it's currently sold out) you can buy a matching bench ($50-something in store) and some matching Windsor style chairs ($60-something in store each).

For now I just want the table, and maybe a bench. I'm not entirely sold on the idea of the bench but it is so purty!
